Details Trip on the Red Deer River through part of Dinosaur Provincial Park. Approximate distance on the water is 40km.We will travel down to Dinosaur Provincial Park Campground on Friday July 21, 2017. Two campground sites have been booked at Dinosaur Provincial Park for Friday July 21, 2017.  We will stay at the campground Friday night.  Car shuttle to Jenner will be Saturday morning.  Depending on the wind and weather, there may be time for people to tour the park a bit Saturday between the shuttle and the launch.  We will paddle about 18 - 20 km to a location just outside the park and camp for the night. Again, depending on wind and weather there may be time to stop and do some hiking along the way to our camp. We will complete the final 20 km Sunday and drive back to Edmonton.Driving time between South Edmonton and the Campground is about 5.5 hours.
Meeting Point For those that wish to travel in convoy, we'll set up a meeting point in Edmonton for Friday afternoon.  For all others, meet at the campsite.  Contact the trip coordinator for location
