Trip Description:

A weekend car camping and learning extravaganza on Lesser Slave Lake.  We will be staying at the Marten River Campground at Lesser Slave Lake Provincial Park.

Participants to book their own site.

Training with Garth Hobden and others.

Lesser Slave Lake is a BIG lake and winds and waves can be expected. Depending on the water level, it also has some of the best sand beaches in Alberta.

If you have confidence in your paddle skills on calm water, this is a great opportunity to work on your skills in rougher conditions. Or maybe work on your tan.
