Put-In:  Buck creek  (this is about 12 miles up stream from Drayton Valley)

Take-Out: Old Genessee ferry site.

Comments:   Total distance is about 90 km.  Replacing Mel's Red Deer (city) to Highway 21 trip.

Mel's Message:

CANCELLED DUE TO HIGH FLOW RATES & WATER LEVELS.

This will be canoe camping and would be suitable for canoes or touring kayaks.  Skill level would be beginer or novice,  mostly class 1 water.    If the river water level continues to drop this should be a reasonable beginner trip.  If any one is interested please call before June 27.
